The name TERRANOVEM is derived from the fusion of the Latin words for Earth (Terra) and nine (Novem), signifying Planet 9. Formed in 2022 from the remnants of UK black metal band Ethereal, M-Inanz and Mordrath united to shape existing concepts into extreme music devoid of frills or image-centricity. Joined swiftly by Selig and Dhakrith, each contributed uniquely to the band's vision. Despite initial ideas predating the formation, all members partook in crafting the album. Dhaktrith introduced crushing bass lines, while Selig's potent vocals, laced with bleak lyrics, were honed over 2022.  Recording for their debut album began late 2022, concluding by March 2023, with a mix/master finished by October 2023. Self-released in early 2024, the album garnered praise alongside lyric videos crafted by Andy @ Verymetalart.co.uk. With live shows on the horizon, 2024 holds promise for TERRANOVEM's brutal ascent.
